Malus ‘ trilobata ’
A rare small, deciduous tree with a narrow, upright pyramidal shape.
Grown for its erect growth habit, its distinct lobed foliage and bright red Autumn colour. Young leaves are bright lustrous green in Spring, becoming dark green in Summer.
Flowers are single, white blooms and few Crabapples are produced.
Tree Size: 3 m tall x 2 m wide
Crabapples are small trees that are hardy once established. Grow in full sun to part shade. Will grow well on most soils, but prefers a deep, moist, loamy soil.
Pruning requirements are minimal.
