Fruiting Pear Tree

Pears are grown and enjoyed around the world.

They are juicy and delicious, nutritious, will store well and are excellent for preserves.

Pear trees are generally very long lived and can live for 50 or more years. Dwarf pear trees will have a shorter life-span (20 - 30 years), but will bear fruit earlier, more prolifically and their reduced height will make them easier to harvest and manage. Pear trees are deciduous, and require a dormant winter period with cold temperatures.

Trees are sold bare rooted during the Winter dormant period,

from the Late May to the 1st of September.
